It’s another Thursday and today we are taking it down the memory lane. It’s time to have that nostalgic feeling again! Who is in? So today we are remembering some old musicals we watched as kinds and some of them even journeyed with us to our adult years. If by error or omission or even by chance you don’t know any of these movies when you see just kneel down to greet me, I’m not your mate! (Winks). Let’s take a look at some of them.
This movie is definitely one of the best. The musical Disney movie is based on based on a book series. Mary poppins the major character is a magical nanny who proves that with music and love everything can be perfect! The movie had well over 20 songs.
SOUND OF MUSIC
If you don’t know this movie then you must be living under the rocks. This movie was everything! It is still one of the oldest musicals and it recorded a massive success. Years later the songs still remain evergreen, I’m sure some of you are already singing do, a deer a female deer…..
I’m sure if you have seen Annie it’s the remake you saw the one that featured Jamie Foxx but the original Annie was released in 1982, there was another remake in 1999 but not as sweet as the original. The final remake came in 2014. The songs in Annie was so beautiful and my favourite is hard knock life.
The animated Disney Movie won our hearts, I watched this movie more than three times and my favourite song was still Hakuna Matata. Lion King is the highest-grossing release of 1994 and the second highest-grossing film of all time. I’m sure you still remember Simba and Nala.
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL
This Disney movie sure melted our hearts. The love story of Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez with the annoying Diva Sharpay Evans. The movie was so interesting that they had to continue and stopped at the part 3. My favourite song was Can I have this dance? I still have this movie that’s how much i love it.
What was your favourite old musical?
