“We all have life storms, and when we get the rough times and we recover from them, we should celebrate that we got through it. No matter how bad it may seem, there’s always something beautiful that you can find” – Mattie Stepanek

I got my first paid writing job August 2015, I was paid #2,000 for the article and it felt like I just hit jackpot, I have written several articles before then that was published on blogs but I wasn’t paid a dime so getting #2,000 for an article was just a big deal to me. I celebrated that achievement so well because I knew if I could make #2,000 then it means I can make millions of naira from it. Today,I charge way more than #2,000 to write or even get featured and I still celebrate every step because there is always more.

We get intimated when we see others doing more, we want to ask what the problem is but you need to understand that there are people who are praying to be where you are, for every step you make its okay to celebrate it.

You fought a lot of battles, life has challenged you and the storms keep raging but look at how far you’ve come, you never succumbed to the battles and you never gave up so get up and celebrate the little success you’ve made.

Nobody makes it overnight, anyone who makes it suddenly will soon go into extinction, there will be hurdles you have to climb on your way to success, when you make your first customer celebrate yourself, when you get your first pay cheque celebrate it, it shows that you can achieve a lot of more.

Every great man has a success story and it’s all about dedication, commitment, perseverance and hard work. Like the saying goes little drops of water makes a mighty ocean, so don’t sulk about the failures, be consistent and your success story will be heard.

Let this be your inspiration this week that you are a success, if you could count your first thousand then you will make billions. Celebrate where you are but don’t stay there for so long, rejoice and move on.

It’s a new week so stay focused, celebrate the success you’ve made last week and even if it was failures you recorded, don’t feel bad it only shows you are trying and you are learning, don’t let your failures stop from trying again this new week. Take a look at the success you’ve made and let that encourage to keep pushing harder.

Cheers to a productive week!
