Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg overtakes the world’s favourite good- guy billionaire Warren Buffet to become the third richest man in the world. According to Bloomerang, Zuckerberg has a net worth of $81.6 billion. He got his boost past Buffett due to a 2.4% climb in the value of Facebook’s shares.
Zuckerberg may have 373 million clams over Buffett, but he is still chasing Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, who are respectively worth $94.2 billion and $142 billion. Bloomberg reports that this is the first time that the top three richest people on the planet are all from the tech world.
Buffett, once the richest person himself, has slipped to number four due to his instance on making donations to worthy causes. Between 2000 and 2017, Buffett gave away 71% of his wealth—$46 billion.
