THROWBACK THURSDAY: CARTOONS WE WATCHED AS KIDS

It’s a beautiful Thursday and today is for throwbacks, we are definitely going back the memory lane to the days we looked forward to Saturdays so that we can watch some cartoons, we had some amazing cartoons before Sophia the first and others took over. If you don’t know any of these cartoons, I’m not your mate o.

Let’s create that nostalgic feeling.

SCOOBY DOO

Scoooby Dooobieee Doooooo….Where Are you? I am sure we all can’t forget this epic title track. And I am also sure you sang it in the tune while you read it. And why not, Scooby Doo and gang solved so many mysteries and always managed to make us laugh. With Shaggy always being hungry and Scooby somehow always managing to find food. I actually loved this cartoon so much!

TOM AND JERRY

Well of course the classic. There is not a single cartoon that can beat ‘Tom & Jerry’. Since the time we were toddlers till the time we became teenagers, Tom & Jerry was the cartoon to watch. In fact there are some episodes we can never forget. This show played an integral part in our childhood. We just can’t forget the epic cat and mouse

POWERPUFF GIRLS

I remember calling them the powderpuff girls, I’m still laughing at myself though. The cartoon revolves around the adventures of three girls with superpowers: Blossom (pink), Bubbles (blue), and Buttercup (green) using their powers to defend their town from villains and giant monsters.

DEXTER’S LABORATORIES

This little guy always made my day a little better when his show was on! As a young girl I always wondered how he was able to get away with having a huge laboratory in his house and how he dealt with the crazy things that happened in it! He was so smart!

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS

This timeless classic will probably never go off the air because of its huge popularity. Kids in the past and the present still enjoy it today. Many shows that we watched 10 years ago most likely aren’t aired anymore. But “Spongebob Squarepants” brings together kids and adults.

What cartoon made your childhood fun? Share in the comments session.
