The Super eagles of Nigeria has dropped one place on the world FIFA rankings as they find their way to Russia.
According to premium Times, The world football governing body FIFA released on Thursday the 7th of June the latest world ranking and super eagles dropped from 47th position to 48th position in the rankings.
The dropping should be not be a team has the team has failed to win any of its last 3 matches, losing 2-1 to Germany, another 1-0 to Czech Republic and a drawing 1-1 to DR Congo.
In Africa, the Super Eagles slipped from sixth place to seventh as they are now behind Tunisia, Senegal, Congo DR, Morocco, Egypt and Ghana. Germany still remains the world’s best, Brazil in second, Belgium in third, Portugal fourth and Argentina fifth.
