FIVE TV SHOWS WE ENJOYED WHILE GROWING UP

It’s another Thursday and as the norm is, its throwback Thursday and we are sure throwing it back to early 90s, the days we had special TV Programmes we all looked forward to as kids, we will be talking about five of them,

  1. I need to know:

I can still remember the theme song for this show, it was a TV series aired by NTA network and sponsored by United Nations Population Fund (UNPF), It was this series that brought the popular actress Funke Akindele to limelight, she played the character Bisi. I need to know was centered on HIV/AIDS and teenage issues. The location was Unilag staff school.

  1. Fuji House of commotion:

Oh lord!! This was the real definition of drama, it was a series set on a polygamous home, chief Fuji and his wives with their notorious children, and I can’t forget peaceful Peace. Fuji house of commotion was so hilarious and interesting.

  1. Binta and Friends:

If you ask me, this was my favourite back then, it is now called Binta my daughter. It was centered on a teenage girl who was an only child and loved to sing, it was all about the issues faced by teens in school and even at home.

  1. Papa Ajasco and company:

This was so hilarious and the characters added a fresh level of craze, who can forget the crazy Boy Alinco or Pa James and the epic line of papa Ajasco “ajibitibiti”, it sure made our growing up fun.

  1. Dear Mother:

This was a very interesting TV series, it was centered on a widow called Teju and her three children two boys and a girl, she had to make sacrifices just to give her children the best life, and she also had a mother who lived with them.
