Just when we all thought the CEEBI Ship of former Big Brother housemates and finalists of the reality show, Tobi Bakare and Cynthia Nwadiora popularly known as Cee-C has capsized, the duo were seen enjoying each other’s company on the cover of the May edition of Lifestyle magazine Media Room Hub.
After the controversy and enmity which trailed their relationship in the just concluded Big Brother Naija show, lots of fans concluded that both may never be good friends after the show. But to the greatest surprise the duo were feature in different friendly and happy pose during the photo shot for the magazine.
However, the editor of the magazine, Azuka described her experience with the duo as one of the most difficult times of her job as a journalist, as both proved more difficult on the location to her than interviewing to government functionaries, presidents and governors.
“All my years as a journalist, who have met and interviewed past and present presidents, governors and dignitaries for Thisday Style cover and ThisDay Newspaper, I must confess that getting these two housemates together was one of the most arduous interview I have ever done in my career”
Earlier on the 28th of April, when the photo shoot and the interview took place, Tobi took to his instagram page to describe the shoot as a tough one but “maintaining professionalism regard less of personal feelings’.
“I had a photoshoot for a magazine and it required maintaining professionalism regardless of my personal feelings. It was tough! . The importance of taking a stance, and maintaining it regardless of societal pressure.” Said the #BBNaija Double Wahala Housemate.
“I am seeing that being in the entertainment space requires being flexible. However, I will always maintain my stance on the things that matter to me” He added.
The two housemates kept viewers of the show glued to their television throughout the duration of the Big Brother Naija show, and increased the shows 2018 edition viewership both on television.
Apart from television, Tobi and especially Cee-C also increased the popularity of the show on social media and blogs including social media trend for weeks.
