Today we are shinning the spotlight on a strong and phenomenal woman, a big brother naija ex housemate of the see gobe season, she is Uriel Ngozi Oputa. She came into limelight in 2017 after her amazing, emotional and hilarious performances at the big brother house in the see gobe edition of the reality TV show, her outstanding performance was her diary sessions with big brother, this earned her the title “Queen of diary room”. Uriel did not make it to the finals but that never stopped her light from shining.
Uriel was born and raised in the United Kingdom to her late father and mother, she is the only girl amidst four boys, a graduate of creative writing from Bedfordshire University, and she relocated back to Nigeria to pursue a career in Music.
After her departure from the big brother house, she has never stopped pursuing success but has continued to make use of the opportunities offered by the platform to move up the ladder of success.
Since leaving the Big Brother House, this only daughter of 5 children has continued to develop and reinvent her brand, she has grown to become one of the most popular housemates from the SeeGobe season of the show.
In spite of having to take care of her sick mum alongside her music career, she has positioned herself as a multi-talented business woman, combining her various talents to make ends meet.
From her cook show to being a renowned Vlogger to modelling to make-up artist to wig making to event host and even to so much more, Uriel continues to diversify into different businesses. In addition to these, as a singer, Uriel’s songs has continued to enjoy airplay on radio stations across the country.
Her determination, entrepreneurial spirit and strong personality has seen her signed on to top brands including PayPorte and Nexus Appliances as brand ambassador. She has also worked with other brands such as Maggi seasoning and fashion houses in Nigeria.
