PAYPORTE’S MCM

Today our man crush Monday is none but the delectable and phenomenal Adedoyin Adedamola, the Head of Logistics and Warehouse for PayPorte Global systems, our editor Omodara Onome had a little chat with Mr. Damola, enjoy the interview.

Onome: Mr. Damola, you look amazing as always

Damola: (smiles) thank you Onome

Onome: Tell me something about you

Damola: My name is Damola, the head of logistics and Warehouse for Payporte. I studied Mathematics at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso.

Onome: Growing up what was your childhood dream?

Damola: I wanted to be a medical doctor, my mum was my role model back then she retired as a nurse and I fell in love with the health sector watching her.

Onome: so what happened to the medical doctor dream?

Damola: I grew up (laughs) by the time I got to ss3 I wanted to study Chemical Engineering but when I wrote JAMB unilag offered me Mechanical Engineering which I rejected, the following year I had to settle for Mathematics at Lautech , I was already tired of taking jamb and all.

Onome: what is your vision in life?

Damola: to create solutions, growing up I always looking forward to problems so that I could create solutions, as long there is a need I am good to go.

Onome: wow, that’s great. When did you join Payporte?

Damola: I joined the payporte family on the 3rd of October 2014, I was employed as a customer service representive, although I still had to function in other departments when the need arose.

Onome: How has payporte affected your vision as an individual?

Damola: I got into Payporte when the company was barely a year old, there were a lot of challenges. We had to brainstorm and one major issue we had back then was the supply chain, issues ranged from the processing time for orders to sourcing for orders but now the story has changed, we presently have a production team where we even produce goods.

Onome: How has Payporte added value to you?

Damola: Payporte is an environment that is interesting and at the same time tough, it is filled with smart people so you can’t afford to be sluggish for a minute, you need to always to be on point and all and then when I started, I had to work directly under the CEO, Mr. Eyo Bassey and he taught me a lot of things, there were some unofficial habits he was able to train me to let go of so I can say boldly that payporte has added to value to my life.

Onome: Are you married?

Damola: Yes, I got married in December 2017.

Onome: Thank you so much for your time sir

Damola: My pleasure Onome
