Makeup lovers get in here and learn something new. Cathieomas takes us on a trip to the land of makeup brushes. Today, she will be talking about the cheek brush and the powder brush. I will hand you over to Cathie now, have fun guys and let me know what you think in the comments session!

Hi Guys,

Part of what is trending in the makeup world now is the application of blush and bronzer to give that well blended glow look. The cheek/blush brush is a premium profession brush ideal for blending cream blush or powder blush and you can get those rosy cheeks using this brush, too.

The perfect brush that I have been using so far for my cheek blending is the Mary Kay Cheek Brush. It is designed specifically for the precise, even application of cheek color to achieve a natural-looking finish. It keeps your foundation in shape and does not alter any look you have created.

The Dome-shape natural bristles are ideal for sweeping color along cheekbones and applying to apples of cheeks. With a beautiful and durable handle, it is easy to use and precise.

What other function does this brush perform for you?

My first set of brushes were these lovely pieces from”Mary Kay.” It is also worthy of note to state that I still have and use these brushes. They are simple, durable and easy to carry about whenever you have a makeup job out of town and even for personal use.

Today, on our brush set series, I will like to quickly talk about this lovely tool, Mary Kay Cheek Brush, a brush that can serve as both a powder and blush brush.

This brush is made of soft animal hair. It is skin-friendly and saves you time because of its dual purposes. It blends loose powders perfectly. Dust the bristles across your face to spread the powder evenly so as not to smudge or crack your foundation.

The bristles are so soft and firm, they only fizzy out when you wash it constantly. That is why you have to put it back into the ‘brush set bag’ after use, so it can keep the hairs together.

This brush is so pretty. It features a matte black wooden handle and the Metal ferrule, it is handy and good for beginners. Funny enough, this brush might look expensive and you will be tempted to walk pass it in the store, but trust me when I say it is very affordable. The brush as we can see is part of a set but it is sold with the whole set at a small price. Cool, right! I know

In a nutshell, The Mary Kay Cheek Brush does all the functions of a powder brush. As we stated, the primary function of a cheek brush is to dust your face with loose or compact powder, without making you look like a ghost. Your only duty is to know how to apply it evenly on your face. Constant Practice will perfect your art.

What brand of brush set are you using presently?  Do share with us.

I’m sure you had fun, cathie has done justice to the function to the cheek brush and the powder brush and relax because she will be right back to talk about other brushes.
